Scott Nicholas

Scott Nicholas is one of the five original founders of QuantumClean, bringing with him more than 20 years of leadership experience at the CEO, COO, CFO and VP levels in manufacturing, service and distribution companies. Mr. Nicholas began his professional career in 1979 as a chemical process engineer and contributed to the design and startup of a variety of chemical production plants. After obtaining his M.B.A., he took a position with Tenneco Oil, a division of Tenneco, Inc., a Fortune 15 company where he performed M&A work for the president.

Mr. Nicholas left the corporate business world and began his entrepreneurial career in 1986, and for the next 14 years held leadership positions in automotive aftermarket, protective clothing, sterile pharmaceutical and implantable medical device manufacturing and distribution businesses. During this same time period, he was a principal architect of two successful business turnaround ventures leading to profitable exits. Mr. Nicholas earned a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management (1984) and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University (1979).
